Natalie replied with a grin, “Joanna, isn't it simple? This evidence will be very helpful in my divorce proceedings, and it'll help me get a huge settlement. You're basically handing me money, so of course, I have to thank you properly.”
“Natalie, you… you're shameless.”
“What about me? Shameless? Why didn't you call yourself shameless when you were framing me? You should have known I'm not to be trifled with. I put up with it before because of those heartless bastards in the Scott family.”
“Colin had a fever for three days straight, and none of you cared. It wasn't actually a fever—he was poisoned. Joanna, you know better than anyone how he was poisoned.”
“You poisoned him with your own hands, causing him to have a fever for three days and three nights. Then you put on a show of being the good little sister who cared so much for her brother. But Colin is blind, treating a snake like a treasure.”
“I'm just curious, why haven't you finished him off yet?”
Joanna froze in disbelief. On the other end of the line, where Natalie couldn't see, her face twisted into a snarl. “Natalie, how do you know all this?”
She even knew about what happened with her brother.
“It's simple. You're careless because you assume everyone will side with you, believe you. You've always been that confident, and that's why you slipped up.”
“And let me get ahold of some leverage. As for those dogs in the Scott family, thank you for taking care of them for me. And that old bastard Nathan, so disgusting. Now you've turned him into a living ghost. Tsk, congratulations on your little family reunion.”
With that, Natalie happily hung up the phone.
“Haha… Revenge is so sweet! So, so sweet! Haha…” Natalie was ecstatic.
“You're that happy?” a grim voice came from behind her.
Natalie jumped, her laughter stopping abruptly. She looked up at Sebastian. What was wrong with him, walking without a sound?
She gave him a defiant smile. “Who isn't happy after getting revenge? But I'll be even happier when you're gone. I could keep a harem of handsome men.”
Natalie was so happy she got carried away.
