Joanna was a little worried. The trending topics list was a double-edged sword.
After a brief surge in fame, without enough substance to back it up, the spotlight could fade as quickly as a shooting star.
Besides, she couldn't let Natalie expose her secrets.
Natalie's biggest trump card was the marriage certificate she held.
But as long as she could destroy the marriage certificate Sebastian had, Natalie would no longer be a threat to her.
Everyone in Yaro knew Sebastian was her fiancé. Now that Robert's agency was handling everything, she didn't have to worry.
Robert sent her a voice message: “Joanna, don't worry about it for now. We'll deal with it in three days. But you have to go to the charity gala tomorrow night. People don't care about what's true or false in rumors. In a world this noisy, rumors are just wild and hard to pin down, but they always get attention.”
“I'll handle all the arrangements for the gala to make sure you make a splash. And of course, the story about your pregnancy will be proven false.”
Joanna finally understood. Despite all of Robert's arrangements, he still refused to admit the child she was carrying was his.
A murderous glint appeared in Joanna's eyes. Robert had to become her sharpest weapon. She would use him to climb higher—it was what he owed her. “I understand.”
After sending her reply, she got ready to leave work. She was waiting for her moment in the spotlight.

Natalie spent the afternoon busy in the kitchen. She was in the mood for a hot pot dinner tonight. Sean had brought over plenty of ingredients, including some of her favorites, like fresh fish and fish cakes.
She was craving it herself, which was the only way she could convince herself to make dinner for Sebastian.
That jerk Sebastian didn't eat spicy food, so Natalie prepared a divided pot—one side spicy, the other mild. She simmered a whole chicken for the broth and had Sean come over to take half of it.
Sean lived alone in the back house and was always on call for Sebastian. It must have been lonely for him to eat by himself.
