“Herbert.” Natalie parked the car and got out.
Seeing how anxious she was, Herbert reassured her, “Don’t worry, don’t worry. I’m here.”
He and his assistant went over, carefully helped Mrs. Wilson out of the back seat, and placed her on a gurney.
The three of them quickly pushed Mrs. Wilson to the examination room.

At eleven in the morning.
Sebastian came out of his morning meeting, glanced at the time, and then at his phone. Natalie hadn't called him.
Before she left, even when they were fighting, Natalie would still remember to send him a message, reminding him to eat. In the winter, knowing he had stomach problems, she would always have soup ready for him when he got home.
He opened his phone and looked at their message thread. The last exchange was nine months ago.
Most of the messages were from Natalie. He had rarely replied, or just sent a curt “Mm” to placate her.
Sebastian irritably tossed his phone aside. Had he really treated Natalie that way?
There were countless men in the world. Without him, plenty of others would be lining up to treat Natalie well.
She was beautiful and more than capable. If she wanted, any number of men would stop for her.
But in his life, Natalie was the only one willing to stop for him.
Yet last night, Natalie had told him that loving him was a mistake she made in her headstrong youth.
It was precisely because it was headstrong and against all advice that it had been so precious.
Sebastian sat in his office chair. He had thought that if Natalie moved back in, they could go back to how things were.
But…
Sebastian closed his eyes, hiding all the emotion within them.
He had also noticed that Natalie and Marshall seemed to have some kind of connection.
A knock sounded at the door.
