Julian paused, then shook his head. “Not my type. I heard she’s getting pretty close with that A-list actor. I prefer girls who are drama-free.”
Sebastian understood. The jerk was just teasing him.
He was already irritated, and his tone turned icy. “If there’s nothing else, you can get lost.”
“Tsk! So cold.” Julian walked away with a swagger.
At the door, he ran into Joanna.
“Julian, there you are,” Joanna called out with a smile.
Julian looked at her pale face. He’d heard about what happened at the Wilson family’s party last night.
Joanna was Nathan Scott’s biological daughter, yet Nathan had disowned his own child. It was a messy and cruel situation.
“Joanna, are you really your father’s biological daughter?” Julian asked, a bit bluntly.
Joanna froze, then said in a low voice, “Julian, I don’t know. I only found out about this yesterday myself. My parents have their marriage certificate now, so we’re a proper family.”
She was desperate to prove she wasn’t an illegitimate child.
Julian just smiled and said nothing. Sebastian’s taste in women was questionable anyway.
It wasn’t until much later that Julian realized Sebastian’s judgment had always been better than his.
And he would regret his own choices for the rest of his life.
“Alright, I’m heading out. You two can talk.”
After Julian left, Joanna went inside.
