Natalie's intense pressure almost made Megan forget her own skills.
Seeing her fall silent, Natalie raised an eyebrow. "If you don't have any objections, I'll call the cops right now."
Megan pressed her lips together. She had to gamble.
She hadn't even been paid yet. She had been hiding out for a long time before Joanna finally brought her in for this job.
Lowering her head, she nodded pitifully. "Fine! Call the police. Let them investigate. I have nothing to hide because I did nothing wrong."
The security footage was completely destroyed. She didn't believe for a second that it could be recovered.
Natalie picked up her phone and dialed 911.
After making the call, she addressed the crowd. "Everyone, you all know Mr. Spencer's status. He has wealth and looks, and countless women try to climb into his bed. To ensure justice for this lady, and to clear Marshall's name, I ask you all to stay as witnesses. Before the police arrive, we'll project the evidence on the big screen."
Some people in the crowd saw the situation clearly, but an opportunity to drag the Spencer family down from their pedestal was too good to pass up. Only when the people at the top fell could the people at the bottom climb up.
That was exactly why Natalie made her request.
Megan was incredibly anxious, but she forced herself to stay calm.
The woman who had spoken earlier shouted, "Alright! We're all witnesses. Let's all stay and uncover the truth."
Joanna narrowed her eyes at Natalie. Why was she always so ridiculously confident?
Natalie turned to the bodyguard. "Come here. Take this pill and give it to Marshall. This time, keep your guard up. Don't let some crazy woman snatch it again."
The bodyguard felt deeply guilty. He walked over, accepted the pill with both hands, and shot Megan a severe warning glare.
