But You’re My Maid novel Chapter 37

Kandy's POV

I woke up to my bed alone, I didn't see Jordan and his spot was cold like he had left hours ago, I looked at my clocking sitting up rubbing my belly feeling our baby kick. Yesterday last Ally called me telling me that Jordan stormed out after hearing the man who raised them all their life wasn't the real father but it was the uncle. I called him and he told me he was in the bar but I knew he needed me so I told him to come back over here.

When he arrived at 11 pm last night and he took me roughly in bed like he was taking out his anger he was feeling for me into our lovemaking while repeatedly asking me if he was hurting our baby I would tell him no that it felt good and he would continue his rough lovemaking. I looked to see he left a note.

Hey love,

I know you don't see me in bed, my love, some investors flew out here after hearing I was staying here for a week before we left together to go back to New York so they wanted me to come to meet them in the office downtown at Coconut Avenue for some important marketing business. I ordered someone to bring you breakfast from Ihop knowing you would probably wake up late from our rough lovemaking last night, eat a lot your eating for two now. I love seeing you when I come back.

Love Jordan.

I smiled at the note when I heard the bell rang, I put on my robe and walked to it, this man had three bags of food.

"I was told that I was to bring this to this address, here you go ma'am, and don't worry about the pay, the man paid me already." The man said, handing me the bags.

"Thank you, "I said, shutting the door.

Yum! Food this is so good I opened the bags. It was full of hash browns, pancakes, eggs, sausage, and three orange juice. I sat down and ate.

After all that food later I was ready for work, like I said before it was a short walk and it was good exercise while I was pregnant for me and the baby. I walked inside seeing everyone stare at me like something was on my face or I was dressed funny.

"What are you doing here?"Lilly asked walking up to me

"I work here silly."I laughed.

"No, that guy that was here the other day thrashing the place said that we must fire you cause you weren't staying."

Jordan did what??? How could he do that, I'm going to kill him. I walked out of the diner and went to the office he said he would be, he is so going to get it to watch. I pulled up to the place. I stormed inside, I walked over to the secretary," Jordan Perez, where is he missing."

She looked me up and down like she never saw a pregnant lady before, "He's in a meeting ma'am would you like to leave a message."

"What the fuck was that Kandy?"

"How could you Jordan." I punched his chest crying, "How could you do that to me, Jordan? I loved that job. I got that because I had no money to fend for and take care of myself and your child. I can't even say I have money of my own because it's always your money I'm using, your house I'm living in your everything Jordan I came here to start fresh so I could protect you but I can't do that no more cause you told them to fire me now the people is going to take the house cause I have no money for rent."I sobbed harder.

We looked at each other but he heard this cold expression.

"I told you, Kandy, I don't need no protection, I live to protect you and I told them to let you go because tonight you will be coming home and you will be home resting until our baby comes, "He looked at me holding my waist and his hand on my stomach rubbing it, "It not up for discussion. I know I might be that possessive, controlling boyfriend but I do things cause I want you safe, and knowing your home where I could work and watch over you and my baby keeps me sane." He pulled me to sit on his lap.

I looked at him. He was probably right. It was time for me to come home to him and my life and not hide out. I looked at him and nodded.

"I love you, Kandy."

"I love you also." He rubbed my lower back kissing my lips.

"I want you to start packing your bags tonight cause we leave tonight."
