Ryn's pov
We stared at each other, dread rolling off both of us in waves and for the first time in my life I didn't know what to do. If we stayed any longer in here we would surely be caught and knowing Stark he wouldn't go easy on any of us. We also don't have time to get his stuff out of my house. It would be a lost cause.
"We need to get out of here now Ryn, we'll think of what we're going to do on our way." Ace rushes, puts his gun in the waistband of his jeans and looks at me expectantly. I sighed and looked at Marlie and Paul's deceased body one last time before nodding. I'll make sure he pays for what he has done to both of you. I vowed, a statement I plan on living up to.
"Okay make sure you don't touch anything on our way out." I rushed and started to advance to the front door or what was left of it. I peeked my head out and didn't spot any cop cars as of yet. It would be our only chance of getting out of here before they arrived. The sirens could still be heard and was getting louder each second which meant they were near.
Ace follows me and grips my hand and squeezes it in reassurance. "It's now or never bellissima. I promise we'll avenge their deaths together." He affirms and let's go of my hand. I looked back one last time at where Paul and Marlie lay and let out a shaky breath.
I nodded, looked at the road one last time before dashing out of the house. Ace follows closely behind as we bolt down those stairs like our asses were on fire. I didn't waste another second as I sprint out of the gates and proceeded to the jeep. As soon as we both were inside I yelled for him to drive which he didn't waste a second in doing.
I looked back to see if there were any cop cars following our tails when I didn't see any, I sighed and sank in the seat as Ace drove in a hurry. We didn't even know exactly where we were heading but for now we needed to get away from here. A sob left my lips as my mind shifts to Marlie and Paul's lifeless bodies.
Ace looks at me from the corner of his eyes before focusing back on the road. "Don't cry bellissima, I hate seeing that you're suffering right now. I can't stand the thought of you being in pain, please stop crying." He pleads.
I pulled the trigger and watch as it puncture the wheel of the motorcycle causing it to skid. The rider slows down and was about to shoot at me before I beat him to it aiming straight to his chest and pulled the trigger. Satisfaction coursed through me as he falls off the motorcycle causing it to crash on the road.
I pushed myself back into the coffins of the car and opened the compartment to pull out more bullets. Another sound of a gunshot pierces through the air and causing the Jeep to skid as the bullet penetrates through the seats. I looked at Ace alarmed, afraid to look at his now bleeding shoulder. He grunts but keeps his eyes on the road.
The riders take our little distraction to speed up to us with two at each of our sides. My eyes widen in dread as they both aimed at us. "Get down!" I shrieked just in time to avoid the bullet. Ace speeds up a little forcing the men to fall back just a bit. I straighten up, unlocked the door and turned to Ace. "When I open this door you slow down okay?"
He nods and waits for me to open the car door. I looked back outside to see the one on my side speeding up. Taking that chance I opened the door making Ace do exactly what I had asked him to. The rider on my side collides into the door, the force flying him backwards and he falls on the road roughly with the door following him. Two down two to go.
