Alpha's Second Chance novel Chapter 315

ROUGE KING

“Your stupid useless price of shit, what do I keep you for. You can’t even do your magic right.” I yell.

“Master, I have tried everything. The witch that protects them is strong. I beg you, don’t hurt my children.” The witch says, kneeling in front of me.

“You keep failing me. Not even your children’s lives help you.” I sneer.

“I will find a way, I promise. I just need a little more time.” She says, still with her head bowed.

“Fine, One month. If you have not found a way by then, I will let you watch your children become a snack. And then I will kill you.” I promise, and I hear her small cry.

“Yes, master, I will not fail.” She says.

“Leave me,” I say, and she hurries out.

I am furious and hungry. Every attempt to break the protection around the royal family has failed. My patience is running out, and I want to see results soon. I will show the world who really deserves to be king, and I’ll show the moon goodness that she means nothing.

WITCH

Everything has failed, and I have tried everything, well, almost everything. I have avoided the very last option because once you do it, you can never go back. It’s a power all witches fear, and the few who don’t have only evil intentions.

The dark power from the god of fire and hell. I do not want to ask for that because my life will never be the same again. It will consume me, change me, make me dark and evil, and I swore I would never do that.

But the Master has my two daughters, and if I don’t find a way, he will let the vampires kill them.

I go back to my room, finding the book that fears me the most of them all. I look at it in my hand, and I shiver. I don’t want to do this, but I have to. I open the book to the first page and begin to say the words written on it.

May my soul not be ruined, I beg for myself.

NOAH

“You know about the situation at the moment.” Dad starts, and Sam nods his head and waits.

“We need someone who can find them and pose as a rouge as our spy. We need to find out how they are able to block our every attempt to find them. I won’t lie, Sam, it will be hard and dangerous.” Dad tells him, and Sam looks Dad in the eyes.

Going spy as a rouge means he needs to be one, or they can smell on him that he isn’t one. Rouges have a musty, rotten scent covering their own.

“I understand. How soon do you need me to leave?” Sam asks.

“As fast as possible. And you know what.” Dad starts to say, but Sam stops him.

“With all respect, my king, my Alpha, my friend. I know.” Sam says, and we all get quiet for a few minutes.

After a talk about the mission, Sam leaves to talk with his son and son's mate and tell them where he is going. Dad looks at him when he leaves the room but doesn't say anything at first. But then he breathes before he looks at us.

"He reminds me of your Grandfather. He is just as wise and so determined as to do whatever he can for everyone.
