Back in Alterra, the monster mob was cleared out very quickly.

Why? Because everyone had been stiffened in their home for weeks and needed exercise! As soon as the monsters arrived, about five to six hours after the floods, people immediately jumped to action.

Pretty much everyone who wasn’t a kid and an old person had gone to the battlement. Many of them even jumped down to go against monsters directly!

Fortunately, all the guards were deployed to fight against beasts, so the civilians were near a team of guards at all times.
