[Hidden Profession Obtained: Array Master!]
[Title Gained: The Only Array Master in the World.]
[Passive Gained: Can now have partial affinity to all elements when used for arrays. Mana Reduction: 1 mana per 2 seconds of use.]
A passive that consumed mana...
Still, she didn’t feel any dampers at all. Rather, she was really interested.
There were no inheritances for this profession, as the masters still had to study everything on their own, and she was not expecting handouts this time.
However, it still felt good because this meant that the universe had acknowledged her efforts and that she was in the right direction!
That said, she was looking forward to getting whatever the title implied, though. If it wasn’t an inheritance, hopefully it was still something.
"Husband! I succeeded!" She grinned as she stood up. Her legs died a bit, and she fell down, but Garan easily caught her and lifted her up. She happily wrapped her arms around him, and they celebrated like this for a few minutes.
Until Althea had to go down and study everything, of course~
First, she looked at her stats.

One of the interesting things was that Array Master didn’t have levels. It just was.
The ideal room temperature was around 20 to 22 degrees celsius. Because extreme cold would definitely go at least negative 30 degrees Celsius based on the descriptions of the aborigines—and could definitely go at least twice as cold—this meant she had to increase the temperature by folds to be livable.
It’d take her some time to figure this out, but then she remembered she’d be staying indoors for a while, so she could probably study it then.
Other than her home, she determined where she’d place the others and decided it should be somewhere where it’d likely be needed by most.
She thought about it and decided to place one on each new entrance plaza for the potential refugees, as well as for her guards to rest in if things got too cold.
After deciding on the locations and determining that he only had one array tolerance for mistakes, he went ahead to start installing them
For the interior one, as per Eugene’s advice, when she told them about the array, was to place the array on a movable stone, in an attempt to have some flexibility in its location.
Extreme Cold was too rare for it to be a fixed feature at home that had floor heating anyway. Besides, wouldn’t it be good to have it movable from the living room to the bedrooms as needed?
She did not dare put it on wood, but the stone was perfect for storing heat as well. They got Reno to make flat stones for her with his ability, which was adobe.
Under the eyes of her friends, she started drawing. She hadn’t tried to use the technique on a detachable surface before, so this was a risk. Fortunately, it worked, though she suspected it was only because the surface was made of special elementalist stone.
Sadly, she still couldn’t control how long one could last before it had to regenerate on its own, but it was fine.

For now, it seemed like the lower the temperature change, the longer the energy would last, which was straightforward enough.
They tested the flat rock, right under a fire-resistant carpet (which they put the soft carpet over). So now it felt like their floors had extra heat.
Their houses had floor heating which could be adjusted to about 30 to 50 degrees Celsius. This was quite hot already and had it been a normal Terran winter, it would’ve been comfortable. But who told them to have so many babies?
