By now, she was very close to leveling up, though they decided to solidify her fighting instincts instead of barrelling through another level up.

At this time, Althea was outside the territory with her husband, and she was training with him along with her brother.

Slash!

A sharp water slice cut the air, and also a few red locks, eliciting a gasp from its owner.

"Hey, sis! Don’t sliced my hair any shorter!" Ansel yelled, placing his fire below his feet, allowing him to fly a bit and away from his murderous sister.

Althea rolled her eyes as she jumped from branch to branch, sending sharp water blades in his direction as she did so. "You won’t die, I won’t widow my best friend."

"..."

Wow, sister, great to know I’m on your priority list!

Ansel barely avoided another slice, though he almost tripped. He managed to keep himself balanced by adding a flare on his palms, boosting him a few inches to balance himself so he could continue running.

Whoosh!

Even Gregor, who was 20 levels higher than him, acknowledged that it wouldn’t be easy to defeat him. The old man said that it would be easier to take down a normal elementalist five levels higher than Garan.

This allowed some peace of mind as they battled outside the territory.

The fight was set to end every thirty minutes, with Garan as the objective judge of who the winner was. Ansel taunted him a lot, though, saying he wouldn’t be able to judge fairly, and Althea did ask him to be fair.

Unluckily for Ansel, Garan had no need to be biased because Althea’s battle sense was not to be underestimated.

She was not nearly as strong as Garan, nor was she as great as the well-trained soldiers, but she was doing great—definitely better than Ansel, despite the latter’s more destructive element.

BAM!

BANG!

Elements flew again, with Althea using her [Perfect Aim] to spread out water daggers, which ultimately weakened the fireballs Ansel threw at her.

This prompted the latter to improve the speed and power of his fireball, and the closer it got to Althea, the better he got at controlling them.

He got a bit too preoccupied with the whole fire-and-water fight, though.

"Ahhh!" Ansel yelled when Althea suddenly created a platform out of nowhere, hitting Ansel from below.

Althea appeared in front of him to kick him, and he managed to block it with an arm before twisting his body to respond.

However, Althea jumped back and quickly took some water from her space and slapped him against the tree.

BANG!

K.O.!
