But in the end, the woman who moved in was Isabella, and eventually, she became the sole owner of the property.
Now, things had completely changed.
After finishing watering the flowers, Susan went inside.
The joy next door had nothing to do with Ethan anymore.
Around seven-thirty, Harold drove out. Isabella sat in the passenger seat, while her own car was driven by a bodyguard.
Her car was packed full of the gifts York had sent.
Harold's expression was grim. Ever since he found out the gifts might be from York, his face had been dark.
York was unfathomable. They had all investigated him, but could find very little.
And York had been investigating the senior management of their large corporations as well.
"Where does this Austin guy live?"
Harold asked.
"He doesn't have a fixed residence, but he frequently stays at several major hotels in the city. Let's go try our luck at those hotels."
Hardly anyone knew about the villa York had bought in Cabinda.
Whenever he wanted to see someone, he had his people contact them. Even if Natalie wanted to see him, she had no way of going directly to his residence; she had to be brought there by his men.
When Natalie was brought there before, she had been taken away blindfolded.
Natalie only knew the place was very quiet, with no neighbors around.
It definitely wasn't one of those high-end villa neighborhoods.
It was likely a custom-built small villa, though York probably didn't build it himself. He likely bought it secondhand from someone else.
Harold gave a nod of acknowledgment.
He knew the few major hotels York frequented.
So, at this moment, only Isabella and York were in the room.
"What would you like to drink, Ms. Lane?"
York asked with a smile, "Tea or coffee?"
"No need. I'm not thirsty."
Natalie had been drugged through a cup of tea or coffee.
Isabella wouldn't dare consume any food or drink in York's presence.
"Are you truly not thirsty, or are you afraid I poisoned the drinks and don't dare to drink them?"
York gave a half-smile. "You have your guard up very high, Ms. Lane. I don't have any malicious intentions. I simply admire you. A stunning beauty like you is unforgettable at first sight."
"I know you have a boyfriend, but you two haven't been official for long. You're neither married nor engaged, so I still have a chance."
When it came to stealing someone else's girlfriend, York possessed absolutely no moral compass.
