"She wouldn't want to go with him!" Yardley argued.

"Don't push me, or I'll kill him!" Yardley warned, his cold glare fixed on the unconscious Fairfax.

Yardley had zero patience for Amos's lectures right now.

Even though Amos knew Fairfax would throw a massive fit once he woke up.
