A Relentless Pursuit for Love novel Chapter 564

Chapter 564

Sage’s appearance immediately stopped the quarrel between the three old men.

“Grandpa.”

Sage called out to Wayne and greeted Mister Mendoza and Grandpa Yuriel.

The three old men retreated their fangs immediately upon seeing Sage and sat upright and decent.

“You’re here, Sage. Come have a seat.”

Simon looked at Sage, his eyes filled with affection.

Wayne glared at Simon and called out for Sage to sit next to him, showing off his badge of biological grandfather’ to the rest.

“What brings you here today?”

Wayne had been talking whilst carving. He managed to carve out a lively and delicate tiger while he was chatting with the other two.

Sage’s eyes were glued onto the tiger. How she wished she could stay and observe every single line and curve on it.

“I’m going back to Salem City. I came to say goodbye before I leave,” Sage answered. “Leaving so soon?” Before Wayne could say anything, Mendoza and Simon stood up straight and asked with concern.

her old man here,’ Mendoza thought.

“It’s not just for accommodation.” Sage laughed and said, “Grandpa is such a hot head. These are also for your trouble of taking care of him.”

“Well… If you put it that way…” said Mendoza.

Wayne heard the conversation from inside and growled, “Who said I’m hot-headed? How am I hot-headed?”

Mendoza stuck his tongue out at him playfully. “Look at that, he refused to admit it.” Wayne’s head popped out of the window all of a sudden, startling Mendoza. He looked at the cash aside and said to Sage, “My darling, your old man, don’t eat any abalones, nor did I consume any liquid gold. Why are you giving him so much money?” “It’s really not a lot of money for a six months stay,” Sage said as she gestured for Hunter to lead a pretty and simple-looking young woman in. “This is May. She’ll be taking care of you from now on.”

Wayne and Mendoza waved their hands and shook their heads upon seeing the young woman who seemed to be younger than Sage. “No, no, no, there’s no need!”
