A Mate for the Latecomer novel Chapter 66

"Lucian, I need you to inform the Alcaders and Moonbridge of the threat near our borders" I walk towards my desk and Lucian move to make the phone calls.

I sat there trying to take a break as I just got back from my duties on the border. There has been an attack it wasn't a major one. Yet it has been four days since I receive the note for Elle and also we have been attacked again by the rogues this time they are with the hunters.

Lucian and I are discussing things for our pack's safety as our gamma is on tour for his mate. I don't blame him as he needed to find his other half like I found mine.

Speaking of Elle we are now inseparable enjoying every moment with her. We already inform her best friends and the Alpha Josh of us, that Elle is moving in with me in my Pack.

We have been there for a day and it was only that day we have been separated. As her friend Aberdeen took her from me and I felt bad for my mate as she was being interrogated alone.

There are times I wanted to tell her of my nightmares and also of what happened on that day but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I am thinking tonight I will tell her everything about me even the nightmares.

"Eric," I turn up to Lucian "Alpha Aaron will send over his warriors and Josh will also send over his Beta and their trackers here."

I sat there not saying anything "Eric" Lucian stood there watching me "we are going to get tis bastards, don't you remember how we were in the past. We will find him Eric so get up and go to our luna. I am pretty sure she is worry over you," he came and pat on my shoulders.

"Alpha breathes a little," he walks away and out of the house, I stood up moments later and got out of there.

I walk towards my room and saw no sign of Elle so I took a shower and plop on the bed. I woke up moments and found Elle staring right back at me "hey how long have you've been," I move to kiss on her forehead.

"Just a while" she replies "I heard there was an attack on our border"

"Nothing to concern you my luna, it's just a minor threat. So how was your day," I ask changing the subject. She bit her lips and I feel myself hard, 'darn it whenever she does that I am always as horny as fuck.

"It was pretty good. I have fun with your sisters and also get to know Angie, Lucian's mate. She's a fun person I don't know how Lucian handle her," that made me chuckle a little. It seems like Lucian has its own medicine now.

She pulls away from me and I suddenly held on to her wrist tightly pulling her back and she fell right back on my chest. Instantly I kiss her full on the lips and she responded I pushes her back on the bed trailing kisses all over her face down towards her neck then took off her top.

She moans loudly reaching for my shirt and kind of tore it instead of pulling it off.

I chuckle "I thought I am the only one missing this," "shut up" she slams her lips on mine with her hands unzipping my pants.

"Whew this is hot" Zhippa whistles through our link and I cut him off as I didn't want any distraction. I focus back on my mate who is withering and moaning underneath me. I pull little bit back taking off my unzip pants and then I move to remove her jean.

"Awww" she started to take a step and all of my warriors moves too right in front of me but I wouldn't let them disrupt me and this mystery woman.

"Eric" she repeatedly sings out my name "how does it feel like to have her in your arms, after all she didn't end up with you" she sinisterly smiles at me.

"I don't know who you are but I think it's best to state why exactly you want my mate and cut out the bull rap. This game you're playing used to be play in the 100BC not this century." She fakes hurt "awww but don't you wanna know what happened in the past" she pouted her lips and then laugh out loud.

"Eric in time you will eventually remember what happened in our past and oh frequently time will tell, don't you think your nightmares are weird" she walks around smiling at me.

There is something about her that I didn't like of, that I wish I could reach out and kill her but I need to be calm and ask her questions.

I need answers now and I know she has answer to the nightmares I have been having.

"Oh moon goddess!" another voice was heard and we all turn to find another female leaning against a tree "I guess there are some of us who still become villains in the present.

I guess the moon goddess forgot to change that" she smirks at the woman "right Jea."
