A Man Like None Other (Jared Chance) novel Chapter 6339

The Tribunal!

When the Tribunal Venerable received the news, he was inside the great hall of the Tribunal, sitting with his eyes closed and resting.

"Hall Master! This is bad!" A celestial cultivator stumbled in, dropped to his knees, and shook from head to toe.

The Tribunal Venerable opened his eyes.

"Speak."

"The force we sent to attack Skywolf Tribe was completely wiped out. The three elders at True Immortal Realm Level Seven are dead too."

The cultivator forced the words out.

"What?" Disbelief spread across the Tribunal Venerable's face.

Those three elders fighting together were more than even he could confidently handle.

How had they ended up dead?

"It was Jared. He brought Shadow Hall, the Wandering Cultivators Alliance, and people from Moonshade Realm to help. That's why our side was completely wiped out."

The cultivator hurried to explain.

The Tribunal Venerable sat in silence for a long time.

His fingers tapped lightly against the armrest, beating out a steady rhythm.

The sound echoed through the empty great hall like a funeral bell.

"Jared... because of you, I've lost a Deputy Hall Master, a spirit beast from Soul Abyss, more than a hundred cultivators, one soulbind herb, three elders, and an army of 3 thousand."

His voice came out low, almost like he was speaking to himself. "You will pay for this."

"And everyone standing against me with you... I'll make all of you pay..."

He rose from his seat and walked out of the great hall.

His golden robe snapped and whipped in the wind.

A golden longsword rested in his hand, and blinding holy radiance flowed across the blade.

Behind him followed one thousand of the celestial elites.

Every last one of them was a powerhouse above True Immortal Realm Level Four.

"To Skywolf Tribe."

Jared was in the Skywolf Tribe camp, tending his injuries.

The wounds across his back and left side had already crusted over, but they still hadn't fully closed.

More than half his chaotic force had been spent. He needed time to recover.

He didn't have that time.

"Jared!" Hadrian Wolfhowe charged into the tent, his face dark and tight. "The Tribunal Venerable is here!"

Jared got to his feet and stepped out of the tent.

Far out on the horizon, golden radiance was rising.

It wasn't sunlight. It was holy radiance—the Tribunal Venerable's holy radiance.

It burned so fiercely it made the eye water, and the whole sky had been washed gold.

Jared's eyes narrowed slightly.

True Immortal Realm Level Eight.

The number one figure in the Fifteenth Firmament.

He had come.

"Everyone fall back," Jared said, his voice level. "This is between him and me."

Hadrian opened his mouth like he was about to argue, but the moment he met Jared's steady gaze, the words died there. "Be careful."

Jared gave a small smile, then shot into the air.

He turned into a streak of violet light and flew straight at the Tribunal Venerable.

The Tribunal Venerable stood in the void.

His golden robe snapped hard in the wind.

A golden longsword rested in his hand.

Blinding holy radiance flowed across the blade.

Behind him stood 1 thousand celestial elites.

He watched Jared fly closer, the corner of his mouth lifting a little. "Jared, you finally came."

Jared came to a stop 100 yards in front of him.

Violet chaotic force flowed around his body.

"Tribunal Venerable, you finally decided to show yourself," Jared said with a cold sneer.

The Tribunal Venerable narrowed his eyes. "You killed my Deputy Hall Master, destroyed my Soul Abyss, stole my emberstone crystal, killed my elders, and wiped out my army. Jared, do you really think you're leaving here alive?"

Jared laughed.

"You think you can kill me?" Jared said, the contempt in his voice impossible to miss.

The Tribunal Venerable said nothing.

Boom!
