It was almost unbelievable. Some of the juniors didn't even recognize Phoebe, once the undisputed goddess of Alnewgo University.
Many seniors couldn't help but enlighten them.
"As freshmen, of course, you wouldn't know her. But let me tell you—Phoebe was the pride of Alnewgo. Back in the day, her name alone was a shining emblem on campus.
"Back then, her piano performances melted the hearts of countless guys. Later, she went abroad to study in Vexburg, leaving many heartbroken. Who would have thought we'd be lucky enough to see her on campus again today?"
Some of the seniors who remembered Phoebe's glory days even teared up at the sight of her return.
She stood at the gates of Alnewgo University. Her presence was even more captivating than before. Instantly, she became the center of everyone's attention.
Many pulled out their phones or cameras, eager to capture her radiance.
Phoebe stood quietly, unaffected by the surrounding commotion. She resembled a painting that had come to life—the most captivating sight on campus.
A few bold guys speculated she might be waiting for help with her luggage.
In the short 600 feet it took Jack to walk from across the street to the gates, he saw at least five young men try to carry her bags. Each one was hopeful, eager for a moment of her attention. Each time, she politely turned them down.
Even from a distance, he could feel their crushed spirits.
Jack couldn't help but mutter to himself, "Even after all these years, Phoebe's return still causes this much of a stir?"
This showed just how popular she had been at Alnewgo University back then.
