A Life Beyond Limits novel Chapter 1062

Realizing that Jack was about to leave, Wilhelmina suddenly bit her lip and yelled, "Wait a minute!"

Jack asked in annoyance, "What do you want to tell me?"

"I…" For the first time in her life, she felt speechless in front of him.

In the end, she mustered her courage and looked at him firmly. She asked, "Jack, were you ever on Flight 525 on the 25th of April?"

Wilhelmina couldn't control her confusion and decided to ask him that question. She desperately needed the answer. Ever since the disaster, she often dreamt about the plane and the man who had saved her.

Shoving his hands in his pockets, Jack looked at her calmly and replied, "That's right. Are you going to ask me if I saved your life? And when you confessed to me, I rejected you, right?"

Jack spoke quickly, and Wilhelmina's face turned paler with every word he said. This was her personal experience, yet Jack was able to talk about it in detail.

Could it really be true?

In the end, Jack nodded and continued, "Don't you think it's ironic? I rescued you and rejected your confession."

Hearing that, Wilhelmina was stunned into silence. She was so shocked that she couldn't speak.

Though Jack had disguised himself on the plane, time was tight. As such, he could only cover his head, and his body didn't undergo any major transformations.

Yet, Wilhelmina had only thought it was a coincidence back then.

After realizing that Jack came from a humble background, she felt that there was nothing in common between them. She refused to believe that Jack was the savior who had rescued her on the plane. If it were true, it would be a huge disaster.

However, the strange sense of familiarity didn't stop there.

When Jack embraced her tightly, a familiar warmth and comfort washed over her, just like the embrace she felt from her savior on the plane. Even though Jack hugged her forcefully, the feeling lingered.
