Ian said in annoyance, "There's a queue for a reason. We came first, so you've to wait for your turn."
The woman placed her hands on her hips and sneered, "How dare you? Do you even know who's dining inside? You can't afford to offend them."
Ian shook his head and replied, "I don't care who they are. We ordered the food first. Go away."
With that, he motioned to the waitress to carry the dishes into their private room.
The woman's face darkened with fury. She stepped forward, blocking the waitress, and suddenly lunged to snatch a dish off the tray.
"Stop it!" Ian yelled.
"I won't!" the woman snapped back, glaring at him. "Touch me, and I swear you'll regret it."
Just as the scene threatened to spiral, the door to the next room opened. "What's going on out here? What's all the noise?" a man asked.
Everyone turned and saw a man with defined features and charisma step out. He commanded authority like a natural leader. It was none other than Patrick—the man Jack had just mentioned earlier.
As Patrick stepped out, a young man and woman followed closely behind. It was none other than Mitchell and Winona, the siblings who had just clashed with Jack earlier.
Seeing Patrick and the rest appear, the sultry woman said, "Our food just arrived, and these people tried to snatch it!"
She was boldly playing the victim. What a shameless woman.
The waitress immediately waved her hands in protest. "There must be a misunderstanding. These dishes were ordered by the guests in this room. Yours are being prepared and should be ready soon. I ask for your patience."
