Bella kept a professional smile, but confusion surged in her heart as she entered the conference hall.
There were too many people, so she had to walk to the front to clearly see who the man on the stage was—it was him.
Bella quietly asked the guy beside him who the person on the stage was.
Until now, Bella was still unclear what role Jack held, standing up there on that stage.
The guy looked at her in surprise. Then, he asked, "Don't you know? He's the founder of Genesis Games, Jack Holland! Why are you here if you don't know who he is?"
Few guys ever spoke to Bella in that tone. However, to be fair, from the guy's perspective, she did come off somewhat naive. Not that Bella cared about any of that at the moment.
Although she never knew who the founder of Genesis Games was, she knew a thing or two about the legacy Genesis Games had created, the story behind its development, and how it had taken the world by storm.
After all, her roommates, Francesca and Bethany, were huge fans of these games. They had always thought the man behind Genesis Games was a genius.
She never thought all of these were Jack's doing.
Bella couldn't help but recall one of the letters she had written to Jack. In the letter, she had said, "At the end of the day, you and I are common folk. How much courage and strength would it take us to break through all those obstacles to end up together?"
She had always believed Jack was capable, but she had never imagined he could bring such a sweeping change.
Now, not only was he changing himself and others, he was changing the world.
Bella had once hoped that Jack would appear like a hero when they met again, riding in on a majestic steed, sweeping in gloriously like in a fairytale.
