Jack looked like a demon as he stalked toward Devin.

Devin was terrified to the point that he started trembling all over. However, he still didn't forget to run his mouth, attempting to threaten Jack. "You… You mongrel! Have you really thought things through? You'll have to bear the consequences if you get on my wrong side!

"If you let me go now, I can let bygones be bygones. But if you cross me today, I'm going to destroy your entire family!"

Jack struck him with a powerful fist to the face. Blood spurted everywhere as Devin's front teeth were knocked right out of his mouth. Jack then drove his other fist into Devin's gut, causing Devin's eyes to contract rapidly. A garbled cry clawed itself out of Devin's throat. He was so scared that he lost control of his lower half and soiled himself.

"Stop!"

As Jack was about to land another blow on Devin, a loud shout resounded toward them from a distance away. A few women were standing there with slackened jaws, taking in what had happened in the corridor with eyes that were wide with shock.

A faint fragrance floated through the air. Feena, Bella, Yolanda, Winona, and Wilhelmina had appeared in the corridor, trying to wrap their heads around what they were seeing.

Devin, who usually carried himself with a certain degree of elegance, was curled up on the ground, looking as if he was on the brink of death.

Jack wasn't afraid of crossing Devin, but he had ultimately stayed his hand with Feena, Bella, and the others' appearance. He didn't want Feena to witness his violent side.

Devin looked as if his soul had escaped his body. He didn't expect Jack to actually be serious about taking his life. Now that he had managed to escape death by a hair's breadth, he no longer dared to provoke Jack. He scuttled over to Winona and Yolanda but was too scared to say a word.

Yolanda studied Devin, who had been beaten black and blue, before pinning Jack with a furious gaze. "You damned devil! How could you be so cruel?"

Winona was also glaring at Jack. She wondered where Jack had trained himself to be so heartless and ruthless, just like a demon. Wilhelmina also pinned Jack with a look of disdain. In her eyes, he was nothing but a violent brute!
