**TITLE: Novel Male 656**
**Chapter 656**
**Third Person’s POV**
Tamara and the omega made their way to the Digby Medical Center, the cold air biting at their skin. It was a brisk day, yet Tamara felt an uncomfortable warmth creeping up her spine, a mix of anxiety and urgency. She had come here with a singular purpose: to procure the medicine that Gloria desperately needed. But as she inquired about the price, her heart sank. The cost was exorbitantly high, far beyond what she had anticipated.
Just the thought of spending so much made her palms sweat, and despite the chill in the air, she felt a wave of heat wash over her. She had intended to purchase a single bottle, but now the weight of her decision felt almost unbearable. Tears began to blur her vision, threatening to spill over. She couldn’t allow herself to cry—not here, not now.
The staff at Digby Medical Center were familiar with her plight; they recognized her face and understood the gravity of her situation. One of the employees approached her gently, their voice soft yet firm. “Tamara, this medication is specifically designed for weak, pregnant she-wolves during labor. If you only need it for daily maintenance, you might consider buying the raw ingredients and preparing them at home; it’s significantly less expensive. Remember, this is an emergency supplement for labor. Typically, one dose should suffice. There’s no need for such a large quantity.”
Tamara quickly swiped at her tears, desperation clawing at her throat. “Are you sure? Just one dose is enough?” she asked, her voice trembling with uncertainty.
The employee nodded reassuringly. “Yes, one dose is generally adequate. If you’re particularly anxious, you could get two as a precaution. But keep in mind, it doesn’t guarantee a smooth delivery. It’s primarily for mothers who are physically drained or struggling during a prolonged labor—it helps replenish their energy to keep pushing.”
With a deep breath, Tamara reached into her pocket, pulling out the money. “Alright, I’ll take two doses then, and please, I need two more doses of the special Danzel medicine as well.”
The staff member nodded, swiftly calculating the total cost. But before completing the transaction, they added a note of caution. “Just so you know, the price of the special Danzel medicine is set to increase next month. The raw materials are becoming increasingly difficult to source, which is driving the costs up.”
Tamara felt a pang of worry. “Dr. Digby had created a specific treatment plan for Rosemary, including a tailored wolf formula. She was showing such improvement.”
The employee sighed, shaking their head. “If she had adhered to that regimen, she would have been back to her old self in two or three years. But now… things are quite complicated.”
Tamara’s heart ached as she fought back more tears, forcing a faint smile onto her lips. “I understand, but we’re in a bind. Dr. Digby can’t come anymore, and we can’t rely on the same treatment indefinitely; the medication must be adjusted over time. For now, we’ll purchase the Danzel medicine while we still have the means. If we can’t afford it later, we’ll find another way.”
