“He’s your nephew, right?” Adelaide asked.

“Yes,” Anilo replied.

Adelaide smiled and said, “Griffin shows great potential and has a strong sense of responsibility. Now that he’s mostly recovered, has a suitable position been arranged for him?”

“He’s now part of Lycan Erasmus’s personal werewolf guard and officially part of the Ironthorn Army,” Anilo replied.

He and his subordinates saluted, his tone brimming with arrogance, “I arrived late due to official duties, Gamma Adelaide. Please forgive my tardiness.”

Adelaide nodded slightly, her gaze sweeping over the twelve squad leaders standing in two rows behind him.
