Your Love Is But a Dream (Clara and Wren) novel Chapter 266

Katrina's expression turned cold, and she fell silent. As she walked past Carlisle, he reached out and firmly grasped her wrist.

"Let's go together," he said, tightening his grip slightly.

Katrina shot him a look of contempt and wrenched her arm free with all her strength.

"I don't need your escort. I can walk on my own," she replied.

Fearing Carlisle would make another move like before, she hurried out of the room.

Carlisle's expression darkened as he watched her leave. With others around, he knew there was no point in pushing further.

Katrina hurried toward the police station's exit and dialed Teressa's number. Before the call could connect, she saw Robert and the others standing by the entrance.

When they spotted her, awkwardness flashed on their faces, but they still greeted her respectfully, "Mrs. Zachman."

Katrina ignored them, giving them only a brief glance before turning away.

Finally, the call went through. "Teressa, are you—"

Before she could finish, a hand reached out from behind and snatched the phone from her hand. She tried to grab it back, but it was too late.

She turned around and saw Carlisle standing right behind her. He directly hung up the phone.

Chapter 266 1

"A divorce won't affect you in the slightest. Why can't you just let me go?"

Katrina's long-suppressed emotions finally erupted. She pointed at the bodyguards and demanded, "Why did you send them to find me? What do you want from me?"

Carlisle sighed as he watched Katrina's agitation. He grabbed her shoulder and leaned in slightly to meet her gaze. In contrast to Katrina's distress, Carlisle appeared much calmer.
