08 - Chapter Eight - Quinn’s Wolfin’s Point Of View.

When I woke up my father was feeding Forest in the kitchen, he looked more than happy to have Forest with him. My father only noticed me when I spoke.

"The way you act with Forest is amazing, I've only had him for a day and you already act like he's you're real blood grandson," I said

"He will always be my grandson blood or not, because if you say he's your son, then he's your son, a gift from the moon goddess he is!"

Forest's eyes opened and he kind of smile, a baby smile, it warmed my heart in ways I had never ever felt. Mated and a parent, My life reminded me of those super cheesy romance movies.

Kane and I would be moving onto his pack land in a few days, at first I thought I couldn't leave my father but, my father packed all my stuff and said I needed to be with my mate. I agreed. I felt something for him and really wanted to explore that.

The day came when I was to move, Forest was packed in his car seat we had to buy last minute. We said goodbye to my father Leanna and were on our way to our home, as Kane called it.

When we arrived at the Crystal Blue wolfpack a man came running at Kane's car, Kane never stopped him as we got out of the car. My new-found mother instincts got the best of me and I growled. I could feel my wolf padding to get out and rip this guy to chunks where he stood but my mate pulled me close to him and whispered in my ear.

"Calm down, it's okay he is the Beta."

I was embarrassed but before I could hide, Forest decided to cry. I walked back to his car and opened it, I took Forest out of the car seat and began to rock him back and forth. The beta watched me hold my child like a hawk and I could feel the anger roll off him, Kane pulled him aside and I heard them talking.

"That child is not yours, How can you even look at your mate knowing your not the father?"

" The child was a gift from the moon goddess to my mate from an Elder She-wolf I do believe, She gave that child to him, Do not assume my mate would give away what is mine."

"I had a few of the warrior wolves set some quick baby stuff, I hope you didn't mind"

"I don't mind"

Kane set Forest in his crib and covered him up, soon I could hear the quiet sounds of Forests breathing. He was asleep. Kane lifted me up and dropped me on the bed and began to watch me like his pray, I wanted him, I was aroused and it felt like my skin was on fire. Kane lifted his nose in the air and took a deep breath I could see his eyes go Yellow, they were glazed over with lust.

"There's something wrong Quinn! You smell all wrong!"

I could only blub like a fish for some reason I couldn't speak, no words would form. The pain was heavy in my midsection. It felt like I was dying. I doubled over in pain. Kane grabbed me and ran with me in his arms. This was such a pain I had never known before.
