04 - Chapter Four - Emerald Victorian's Point Of View.

Standing up from the table I raced after him, I wasn't about to let this man child get away with that. He needed to act like the adult he clearly was.

"Lucca! Please wait! " I yelled, jogging after him.

"Why, Why should I wait for you?" Lucca said, his eyes glowing purple in the dark.

"That’s because I’m your mate?" I said my eyes brimming with tears.

"And your point is? Did you want a prize? I'm just your mate so what." He said walking away from me.

How could he do this to me, we’re mates. I felt the tears running down my face. I walked back to the kitchen and everyone glanced at me.

"Are you okay?" Castel said.

"Nope," I said grabbing my coat and leaving. I walked from their house leaving everyone behind. I was going to do something fun, I wasn't sure what but I would. I walked around the city, it was dangerous but I didn't mind, I needed time to myself.

I sat on a bench by the water and played with the sleeves of my sweater. I watched the sun come up. it was noon by the time I turned my phone back on. A number I didn't have on my phone called me so I picked up.

"Hello, this is Emerald, can I help you?"

"Mate you tell me where you are right now!"

" Lucca? Is that You?"

"Who else would it be " He growled through the phone.

"Ugh, no-one, but I’m at the beach..."

"Stay right there, lord forbid should you move from where you are before I get there." 

"Oka----"

*beep beep beep*

He hung up on me, I couldn't believe the nerve of him. First, he freaked out on me last night. today he's all super protective. I could probably call my parents and let them know I'm okay.

"Hello?"

"Hey mom"

"I told you. You-----"

"Pull over!” 

"Emerald I’m not pulling over,” Lucca said, keeping his eyes on the road.

"Then take me home, Frankly I don't want to be around you!" I Snapped.

"You are going where ever I take you and that is final "

I turned my body towards the window and let out a huff of air when I noticed we were going to his house. He pulled the car into the garage and turned it off. He walked around to my side and pulled open my door, unbuckled me and threw me over his shoulder.

"You put me down now!" I screamed.

He walked past the kitchen and I saw my parents have coffee with Lucca's parents, he walked up to his room and threw me straight on the bed and turned around and left saying nothing but the click of the lock had told me I was locked in his room until he let me out.

I pulled my jacket off and walked around his room, I opened his closet and saw the black hoodie, I grabbed it and pulled all my clothing but my boxers off and pulled his sweater on. his sweater smelted just like him and I was going to steal this sweater when I go home.

I was looking at his bookshelf when I felt really tired. I walked over to the bed and pulled back his comforter and sunk into his marshmallow of a bed. I was almost out cold the moment I touched the bed. Screw him for locking me in here, I'll just take advantage of his mistake and have a nap
