02 - Chapter Two - Quinn Woflin's Point Of View.

(Flashback)

"Mama are you okay," I asked walking towards her. She extended her hand and slapped me roughly. Though this is not the first time she laid her hands on me. She's sick & I need to simply help her.

"Go get me more wine! Waste of space!"

Ouch. I brushed off her words even though they cut deeply. Mama will be okay. I walked to the kitchen and grabbed her another bottle of wine, this is bottle two. I hand it to her and she grabs the bottle but not before hitting me with the empty one.

"Get out of my sight, you little bastard!"

"Yes, mama."

I drag my feet as I walk away from the living room. She would call me again. She always did.

My door flew open and I could see the hate in her eyes, they were once so bright and happy. Now they are dark and soulless. The hurt had ruined mama, she would never be the same again.

"Why do you have to look just like him baby-boy."

"I don't know ma---"

Smack

"I hate you because you look just like him, Are you going to leave me just like he did?"

"No mama, never."

Smack

"Good Boy!"

She then grabbed me by my arm and threw me out of my bedroom and down the stairs.

"Well, Are you going to serve me you little fuck?"

"Yes, Ma'am."

I served her, her plate of dinner. She would make me wait until she finished eating for she would let me eat. she took a few bites before she through the plate at me. It hit me in the face, then she began to scream.

"You are so useless, Quinn! No ones ever going to love you, you can't even cook! I should have never birthed you, you ruined everything!"

I swear at that moment my heart broke, mama I'm sorry.

"I'm going out, you better have this shit cleaned up when I get home or else I will give you the biggest beating you ever had!"

I stood right where I was, as she left she pushed me down on the cold hard floor. She was always like this, she had bruised me more times then I could count. The thought I ever had in my mind at this time was----
