12 - Chapter Twelve - Quinn Wolfin’s Point Of View.

I woke up and saw Kane laying beside me, I smiled I'm glad He's still beside me, I was scared he would be gone when I woke up. I crawled closer to him and smiled silently.

"Good morning naughty mate" Kane mumbled pulling be extremely close to his chest.

"Good morning my alpha" I yawned.

"Can we talk about what happened yesterday Quinn?" Kane asked as if excepting me to rip his head off.

"After coffee love," I said kissing his lips and rearranging my PJ bottoms. I left the room Kane following behind. Kane and I were almost in the kitchen when we heard Forest giggling. When I opened the kitchen door, My father had Forest in his arms and kept hitting Thanatos on the hands every time he reached out for Forest.

"Why are you here bloodsucker? Don't you think I'll let you pray on my grandson!" my father said swinging his wooden spoon around.

" Father. Please don't beat Thanatos he doesn't deserve it" I said stifling a laugh.

"He is going to eat your son, he's been trying to get his hands on him all morning, I found him leaning over Forest's crib like a pervert Quinn," my father said all dramatically.

"I'm no pervert, mutt mouth, " Thanatos said dropping his head on the table In defeat.

"Father! Thanatos is Forest's mate."

My father's face went pale as he realized the idea totally slipped his mind.

" I'm sorry bloodsucker!"

"It's alright, Mutt mouth !"

"Please come in, let us talk this over young elder." a woman spoke stepping aside to let me in.

We sat down and they brought me tea and we talked. They told me to allow the future to happen because its the way it's supposed to be if I intervene the moon goddess will give me massive consequences.

"I will hide Forest away then!"

"You will lose Forest then, He is not your blood child, young elder, the moon goddess will take him if you don't allow Thanatos to be with your child."

I couldn't stop the tears that fell from my eyes, either way, I would lose my son to Thanatos, I would have to give my son away. The older elders comforted me and they gave me a crystal and told me to use it to see visions and speak to the moon goddess. Leaving the place with Forest in my arms I walked back to my father's house and my father's beta saw me,

"Luna Quinn, Are you alright?"

I pushed Forest into his arms and wandered around the house, Unsure what I was going to do. I couldn't think straight. I didn't want to lose my son, he was my child, threw blood or not. I felt so lost. I gripped onto the moonstone and sat on the kitchen floor and looked into the future. it was Forest's future. Perhaps this was another gift from the moon goddess?
