Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 87

The police sirens could be heard from outside, the police got down the patrol car in a well-trained manner.

“I’m sorry, we’re late!” One of the officers walked over and bowed to Young Master Moore. He had been shocked when he had seen that Henry had been carrying a woman in his arms.

Who was this fragile woman whose head had been buried deep in Chairman Moore’s arm? He never heard anything about her. ‘Since when did Chairman Moore have a girlfriend?’, Officer William thought suspiciously.

The officers who had been behind had cold sweats when they had seen Chief William treating Young Master Moore with respect. They came over immediately when they received the call.

Henry did not bother to look at him, while he said in a cold sneer, “The public order in this place is getting worse!”

Chief William almost fell on his knees when he had heard what Henry said, “I’ll get rid of these sickening people immediately.”

He turned around and looked at all three people in the old warehouse with disgust in his eyes, then ordered his men, “Bring them back to the station.”

Xavier and Randal had been beaten badly on the floor, their entire body had been covered in blood. The officers came in and roughly dragged them away.

When Cindy heard that the officers wanted to take her back to the station, her face was as pale as a ghost. She panicked and screamed, “No, I don’t want to go to jail!”

“Young Master Moore, Young Master Moore, please forgive me, I am a victim too,” Cindy struggled to move forward a little as she had still been tied up, “I plead on behalf of Monique earlier, they kidnapped me too, Monique could prove it. Please forgive me, I don’t want to go to jail.”

Henry did not bother to look back as this sickening woman almost got his daughter killed. She deserved it. He was about to leave but Monique’s heart softened and gently pulled his shirt. The clothes he wore were of fine materials, it had been comfortable to touch.

Henry felt as if a kitten had scratched his chest, he stopped and looked at her with his dark eyes. His eyes examined her with a trace of hidden care.

His voice was hundredfold bone-chilling than the cold breeze. Monique calmed herself down from the fear and wanted to try again.

How could this woman not have learned her lesson? That girl tried to harm her and yet she had wanted to help her. If he had been late, it would have been a dire situation. Henry’s eyes turned colder when he thought about it.

Monique turned around and looked at Cindy who had been sobbing desperately. She had been tied up over there and yearned for help. Then, she remembered the time she had been forced to drop out of school. Her heart tightened.

When Cindy saw that Monique had been looking at her, she desperately screamed for help, “Monique, save me, please save me. I know I’m wrong. My life would be over if I got caught. I beg you, please save me.”

Monique’s heart could not have bore it.
