Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 84

He was Henry Moore, the chairman of Marriott International.

His movements had been so captivating. Cindy had never seen anybody who fought so graciously. He attacked like a panther, elegant yet deadly.

If she had not been tied up, she would have dived towards him and laid beside his feet.

How could this man have been Monique’s husband and the father of the kid?

Impossible! There must have been a mistake.

Why did he choose Monique? She had just been a janitor. If she managed to bag a man with the status Young Master Moore had, why did she not? She was a student at University H for Heaven’s sake!

Cindy’s jealousy consumed her mind and turned into deep hatred. She blamed Monique for having put her in that situation.

Henry hurried to Monique’s side while Shaun ran behind him. His face was flushed red while he breathed heavily, as if he had just ran for a long distance. Before the car stopped entirely, the chairman had disappeared and he could not even keep up with him.

He had never seen Young Master Moore act like that, having rammed the car at full speed, transforming a luxurious sedan into a sports car.

Shaun glanced at the women in front of him. He seemed to have understood better as to why Young Master Moore had been crazy about her.

There had been a hint of resilience under those delicate pink lips and crystal clear eyes. Even though her face had been red and swollen, it did not diminish her beauty. She shielded Angel with her tiny body protectively. He saw that Angel had been well-protected and unharmed, having created a stark contrast with the wounds on her fair skin.

He took off his coat and covered her gently. Instantly, Monique had been wrapped in his scent.

This gorgeous-looking man had been domineering and unreasonable sometimes. His chiseled face, high forehead, prominent nose, and brooding eyes gave him a sharp and stern look but Monique sought solace from his concerned gaze.

“Waa...waa…” She went limp against his strong chest and poured her grievances.

She cried her heart out until she had been out of breath, terrified by what she had just experienced. She thought that she had been going to die today. She could not have imagined what she would have done if she had failed to protect Angel.

Her tears kept streaming down her face as she trembled violently. Her tears fell on Henry, having stained his shirt.
