A soft and lovely voice came from the other end of the phone.
"Yes, I miss you so much. Are you good in kindergarten?" Monique softened her voice when she heard Little Nomi's voice.
"Mommy, I'm so good. I've got a little red flower today, and it'll be our dance class later. The teacher said that we can go home and dance for Mom and Dad when we learn it. Mommy, I'll dance for you later in the evening, okay?" Little Nomi said happily.
Monique paused for a moment and said awkwardly, "Little Nomi, it's Mommy's first day at work today. There are a lot of things to do. You can dance another day and show me. And I'll ask Mrs. Lee to pick you up today."
Little Nomi was silent for a while.
Monique quickly added, "I'm afraid it's too late to pick you up. All the children are gone, and you're the only one left."
Little Nomi pursed her pink and tender lips, and her smart eyes became deep. She asked in a low voice, "What about daddy? Can daddy pick me up?"
Monique held the phone and was stunned for a while before she came to her senses. "Well, your father is also busy... Let Mrs. Lee go!"
Little Nomi frowned.
Seeing Little Nomi's unhappy expression, Mr. Sun knew that Little Nomi wanted her parents to pick her up.
She squatted down and held her soft body in her arms.
Looking at Little Nomi's delicate face, she comforted her with her look.
There was a moment of silence on the phone before Little Nomi said slowly, "Okay! Are you going home for dinner tonight?"
Monique said, "Maybe we can't go back for dinner. I'm doing something with your Louise aunt, but I'll go back at night!"
Monique seemed to feel the uneasiness of Little Nomi and deliberately told her that she was with Louise.
Louise also said, "Yes, Little Nomi, I'm with your mother. There are a lot of things to do today. Your mother can't go back until a little later."
Mr. Sun's nose twitched. Although Little Nomi was well-behaved and beautiful, and she was good at taking care of people, she always felt that she had no sense of security.
She used to think that the children who had just entered the gate were like this, but it seemed that this was not the only reason.
Mr. Sun looked at Little Nomi and nodded. "Yes, I will." Then she reached out and looked at Little Nomi.
Little Nomi looked at Mr. Sun, stretched out her fair and tender hand, took Mr. Sun's hand, and went to the dance class.
Monique hung up the phone and was lost in thought for a while.
Louise looked at her and asked, "What's wrong?"
Monique had not told Little Nomi that Little Nomi was Henry's biological daughter. Now it was not the time to talk about it.
Monique shook her head. "It's okay. Little Nomi wants me to pick her up, but I won't pick her up today. I'll call Mrs. Lee and ask her to pick up Little Nomi."
