Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 502

Henry continued coldly staring at Logan, making Logan fumble. To save himself, Logan swore, "I really don't know Monique. I meant her!"

Henry shifted his cold eyes away from Logan, seeing him swear so sincerely.

Stella was dumbfounded. 'Can anyone tell me what's going on? Why the need to swear when you just have to admit whether you know her or not.'

Logan let out a sigh of relief when Henry removed his cold gaze from him. It was new to Logan to see Henry glaring at him because of a woman.

"About Monique… I meant your daughter's mother. What did she say? Will she stay?" Logan cautiously asked.

Logan knew nothing about Monique. He did not know who she was, what her career was, or why a kid suddenly appeared with Henry. Was there a scheme behind all this?

Monique Xander!

Logan scanned through his memories, but could not recall any affluent Xander family in B City.

It looked like Mr. Moore was giving her special treatment!

Henry said that they would not get married, but that did not mean that Monique would not stay with him.

Time seemed to have paused; the entire office dropped dead silent.

Would she continue staying with Henry? Henry could vividly recall every word that Monique said.

"You're the one who forced me to stay back. Do you really think I would? I climbed into your bed on purpose. Would you have set me free if you didn’t have your fun with me? Do you really think I would fall for you? Hahaha, what a joke. You even sent me flowers? How does it feel to be humiliated?"

Would Monique willingly forfeit?

Henry knew it was impossible

Monique had suffered a lot for Angel. Even back then when they were kidnapped, Monique was willing to throw her life away to protect Angel, which was why Angel would always be her weakness.

Because of Angel, Monique was forced to move into Moore Manor.

However, whenever Henry thought of when Angel held hands with Monique and Simon, it made Henry feel the urge to rush to Simon and chop off his hands.

Henry insisted on making his daughter stay beside him. He would provide Angel all the best things: the best living environment, the best clothes, the best food, and the best school. If Angel was not willing to transfer to another kindergarten, Henry would just give in and would make the kindergarten into B City's best kindergarten, with the best facilities and best teachers. It would all just be a piece of cake to Henry.
