"I don't want to. The kindergarten’s a nice place to study, and Miss Sophia and Miss Christine are good to me." Angel was reluctant to transfer to another kindergarten. She loved being there; the teachers were all kind to her.
Henry just faintly agreed. "Then, I'm off to work. Be a good girl at home!"
"Ok, remember Uncle Leeds!" Angel reminded once again before hanging up the call.
Henry hung up, his expression as dark as charcoal. His cold and sharp eyes emanated cold vibes and an aura of bloodlust engulfed his body.
The bandage covering his wounds was now soaked in blood; his wounds had opened up when he grasped the sofa.
However, he felt no pain as he grabbed a vase and hurtled it to the floor.
A loud crash was heard.
He made a call to someone, but the latter did not pick up.
Again, he called, but the result did not change.
He called another number and within a split second, the call went through.
Last night, Henry sent Stella back home. She was very pleased and thrilled, thinking about Henry till it late in the night before she fell asleep.
In the early morning, she was woken up by the ringtone of her phone. Stella, grumpy, opened her gorgeous eyes and reached out for her phone. To her surprise, it was Henry. Stella was on cloud nine; it was the very first time Henry took the initiative to call.
She quickly answered, saying in a sweet voice, "Hen!"
"Have Logan come up to my office instantly." A familiar voice that was low and attractive was heard, which sent shivers down her spine.
Henry's voice was like a demon’s, making the atmosphere of Stella’s room suddenly very chilly.
Logan despised others waking him up. Therefore, he always set his handphone to silent mode.
He wanted to sleep as much as he could.
Those who disturbed his sleep were sure to end up with bad consequences.
However, Stella was not bothered, and with all her might, she knocked the door. "Bro, wake up!"
Logan was infuriated from last night's incident with Louise. He had wanted to tease her, but ended up in the hospital. As soon as he stepped foot into the hospital, Louise immediately fled.
Besides, she thought that Logan would just let the matter slide if she left 500 bucks behind.
'That was just too much.'
