"What's so secretive about it?" Monique asked then started eating.

Monique did not have the appetite to eat. However, she still forced herself to eat something after she saw Louise taking the effort to prepare so many dishes.

"I was just wondering...I want to ask you something. Please promise me you won't get mad ok?" Louise asked as she looked at Monique with caution.

Louise could still remember that nervous expression Monique had when she mentioned Henry's name earlier that morning.

She was worried that Monique might give a huge reaction as she was about to mention Henry again.

Louise did not have an idea about what happened to Simon, who brought Angel here in search of Monique and got arrested by the cops. Judging from the photos, it seemed that the gentleman in it had a good relationship with Monique.

Monique could guess that Louise was about to ask her something regarding Henry as she felt a pinch in her heart. Yet, she put on a smile to conceal her emotions. She said, "Feel free to ask."

'No matter how much pain I'm having now, it will be washed away soon right?'

'Perhaps I’ll feel much better if I express it all out?'

Monique knew she could not escape from reality any longer as Angel was still waiting for her return.

"Do you sincerely love chairman Moore?" Louise asked as her pretty eyes were staring at Monique. It was as though she was afraid that she might miss out on her expression.

'Love him?'

Monique was feeling her heart throbbing in pain.

"It's fine if you don't want to answer me," Louise said as she let out a sigh. She saw Monique's sorrowful eyes filled with tears that were about to flow out. Monique was tightly holding on to her plate. It was as though she was about to shatter the plate into pieces.

"I don't love him!" Monique forced out her answer as though she was still exasperated.

"You sure you don't love him?" Louise asked as she was feeling surprised. She realized that Monique was looking depressed.

'Of course, she doesn’t love me. She's planning how to escape from me. It was all lies when she expressed her idea of earning some money, picking that kindergarten and learning some skills was all for the sake of Angel.'

'She was using Angel as an excuse. Her real reason behind her actions was that guy named Simon Leeds.'

Henry frowned as though his face was covered with a layer of ice. It was giving out a cold expression. His black eyes were swirling with fury as he spun around. He took big steps and left the place.
