Louise reached home and saw that Monique was already asleep. Louise was exhausted as well, so she hit the sack after brushing her teeth.

However, after Louise woke up from slumber the next morning, Monique was still asleep.

"Don't tell me she's having a fever again!" Louise was worried as she gently touched Monique's forehead.

Louise was relieved to find out Monique was not having a fever. It would be bad if Monique was having a fever again. Especially after Louise was being persistent to keep on drinking last night.

She sat beside Monique on the bed and rubbed her temple as she was having a terrible hangover. She did not feel like moving around as she took out her handphone to check her mail.

She was pretty much occupied for the past two days that she did not have the opportunity to check her mail. The moment she opened up her mailbox, she was shocked to see that there were 999+ messages in the company email. 'Just what was going on in the company? Why are there so many messages?! Did the company announce some new strategy?'

Louise clicked into the mailbox with her delicate finger and started scrolling through it. She was astonished at what she saw.

There were tons of Monique's photos.

It was the photos of Monique and Angel meeting up with a handsome gentleman. Louise could still recall that Angel greeted that gentleman as uncle Leeds.

The photos were showing them having a meal in a restaurant, with intimate actions seen. From the photos, she could clearly see how well Simon treated Monique. They were showing him peeling off prawns’ shells and placing it onto Monique's plate while looking at Monique with a passionate look.

There was another photo showing Simon on his feet, about to head somewhere else and Monique was holding on to his arm. It was unknown what they were conversing but it was clear that they were both putting on a delighted expression.

Another photo showed Monique, Angel, and Simon holding hands and strolling down the streets. It was a wonderful scene as though they were one family.

Even Louise was shocked to see the photos of them exchanging intimate looks. She wondered if the chairman saw them. Since the photos were circulated in the company group, the chairman must have known about it.

Suddenly, Louise thought back to the night two days ago. She dozed off while taking care of Monique and she somehow felt that she received a call from a manager. The manager was telling her to delete some photos and her handphone would be thoroughly checked when she came back to work. She would be fired if she did not delete all the photos.

She was tired that night and she just casually replied.

Then, the manager hung up the call.

She made some simple dishes along with a fried egg.

Louise entered Monique's room more than 10 times while she was busy preparing breakfast.

However, Monique was still asleep!

It was almost noon and Louise could not wait any longer as she made up her mind to wake her up.

"Monique! Monique!" Louise called out to her for some time. Only then Monique opened her eyes in a daze. Her eyes were swollen and red. They looked lifeless. She was having a devastated look on her face which was terrifying.

Monique was confused as she looked ahead for some time before she could clearly make out it was Louise sitting before her. She slowly opened her mouth and said, "You're back!"

Louise did not hold back as she reached out for Monique's forehead again. 'Is she really not having a fever?'
