Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 444

Yvonne frowned. What did Henry mean?

She had been very busy at work.

Yvonne shook her head. “No. I have been very busy at work.”

“Very busy? How would you have time to go out and take photos otherwise? If I remember correctly, you took those photos during working hours,” Henry harrumphed. His tone sounded cold.

Yvonne could feel the chill in the air. She twitched her lips. “I was not feeling well the other day so I took leave. When I was on my way home, I saw them having a meal together. I was so angry so I stalked them. I felt unfair for you that my sister did such a thing.”

Henry raised his brows. “You are so kind.”

Yvonne felt so proud after being complimented by Henry. Apparently the chairman had fallen into her trap. It seemed like she would soon be Mrs. Chairman.

She smiled. “These are my responsibilities. As soon as you need me, I will come anytime.”

The pair of dark eyes on Henry’s handsome face turned cold. His tall and strong body was covered in chill. He nodded. “We, Marriott International, do really need you. A few cleaners are on leave recently. Thanks for your help.”

Yvonne was stunned for a few moments before she could finally react. Her face turned pale, “Chairman Moore, I…”

“Why are you standing there?” Henry raised his lips and said casually, “I heard that Amelia had been caught by the police. Otherwise I would have to trouble you to be a cleaner at the police station,” Henry said emotionlessly. Yvonne could feel the chill deeply in his tone.

Her face seemed twisted as she heard that Amelia was caught by the police. She quickly shook her head. “No. I don’t want to go to the police station. I will go ahead and clean the toilet. I am going to clean the toilet now and will surely make it clean.”

Yvonne looked pale. Her body could not stop shivering. Her hand was holding her placket tight and she was trying hard to stand straight with her weak legs.

“If you dare try anything on Monique, I will have you clean toilets forever,” warned Henry.

Yvonne nodded. Her tears streamed down the corner of her eyes yet she did not dare to cry out loud. She teared up and promised, “I promise that I will not do it again.”
