Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 436

The secretary came in soon. She was the pretty secretary. Angel remembered her as she brought sweets for her last time.

It was easier to trick her than her father.

“Chairman Moore, is there anything I can do for you?” The pretty secretary looked at Chairman Moore with her sparkling eyes.

The chill over Henry's body had disappeared.

Angel twitched her mouth as she saw her infatuation with her father.

“Take Angel to the playground.” Henry did not even bother to glance at the secretary. He turned around and looked at Angel. “Be a good girl. Do not run around!”

Angel nodded obediently. She held the pretty secretary’s hand and went out.

When they arrived at the lobby, Angel pouted and said to the pretty secretary, “Pretty sister, I wish to have Aunt Louise come along with me.”

Angel’s little face looked pitiful.

Even though the receptionists heard of the rumour yesterday that the little girl in front of them was not the Chairman’s biological daughter, she could not bear rejecting her so she agreed.

Henry treated Angel very well. Mandy went out in the morning, and he had even asked the pretty secretary to bring her down. It seemed that this little girl and him had an extraordinary relationship.

Furthermore, this little girl looked very alike to the chairman. Her chubby face looked so delicate, her thick long lashes fluttered like a little butterfly as her big bright eyes blinked. Together with her small pink lips, she looked adorable.

It was truly heart melting to see her.

The heart of the receptionists completely melted after they scrutinized Angel. The conversation in the WhatsApp group must have been filled with rumours because of jealousy. A beautiful adorable girl who looked so identical to the chairman must have been his daughter.

She had even thought if her mother was kidnapped like the previous time, hence her father did not tell her out of worry. She could see the sadness in her father’s eyes.

Furthermore, her mother’s room was full of ashes left by her father’s cigarette. Although her father started smoking a long time ago, he hardly did. She rarely saw him smoke.

She could only occasionally smell the light cigarette scent from him.

The receptionist looked at Angel’s big watery eyes. Her thick lashes that captured her tears made it very heartbreaking to watch. “Angel, don’t be sad. I will call Aunt Louise on behalf of you, alright?”

Angel nodded. Her tears flowed. She placed her backpack down, took out her phone and said to the receptionist who was about to make the call, “Aunty, you can use mine to call. It is free of charge.”

The receptionist looked at Angel as she lifted her head up with her big red eyes. Her heart melted. Angel’s small hand held her handphone high and said it with a persistent look.

She took her handphone and dialed Louise’s phone number.
