Plenty of people could not afford to send their children to prestigious kindergartens with pricey tuition fees up to the tens of thousands.

"Well, actually our company has taken an interest in your kindergarten and would like to buy it for over three times the market value. Here, this is our proposal. Please look it over." Mandy jammed the send button on her handphone and sent Simon the proposal.

Mandy mentioned that she had the planning department prepare the proposal. "We’ll expand its space and provide more facilities. We promise not to increase the tuition fees for the time being."

Simon glanced through the proposal and agreed that it was meticulously prepared. He was willing to give it a shot if the kindergarten would end up with more space and with well-equipped facilities while the price of tuition fees would remain as is.

With that, more students would be able to benefit from it. The students currently studying the kindergarten would be able to benefit from the improved facilities.

But why would they do that?

Was it an act of charity?

Simon felt thrilled. 'Could Monique be the one doing it for the kindergarten?'

However, Simon noticed that Miss Gray looked depressed. It looked like things were not as simple as he thought.

Simon smiled. "This proposal is splendid, but why?"

Mandy faintly smiled. "We have just one condition."

"What condition?" Simon asked, astonished.

Mandy stared at him. "After our company buys over the kindergarten, you must leave the school and leave B City."

Simon was a bright man and he immediately knew that it was not Monique's idea, but that her boyfriend was the mastermind. The cold-hearted guy had an aura around him that made him look as though he was always on top of the food chain.

Simon tried searching for Monique high and low, but she was nowhere to be found, as though she vanished from the world.

No one had any news about Monique.

Monique once told Simon that if she happened to fail to enter H University, she would enroll for a Bachelor's degree in education and become a kindergarten teacher.

With that, Monique would be able to take in all the orphans and keep them company while they grew up so that they would not feel lonely.

That was why, after graduating, Simon used up all the money he earned from working in another school to start up a kindergarten.

The Starry Kindergarten was the result of his effort and was also Monique's wish, yet he was being asked to let it go.

"I can't do that." Simon got to his feet after giving his answer. He raised his arm, signaling Mandy to leave.
