Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 402

Monique arrived on the 23rd floor and it seemed that Mandy left for lunch as she made her way into the chairman's office.

The chairman's towering silhouette was seen sitting on the office chair. He earnestly glanced through the documents on the desk.

Monique's heart started racing when she saw Henry's handsome face. She lifted her head and took a gleam at Henry as she was feeling bashful. She then called out, "Dearie."

Monique got used to calling Henry 'dearie'. It started coming naturally to her.

She called out to him in a loving tone.

Henry lifted his gaze and saw Monique's pretty face and glittering eyes. It was as though they were embellished with stars.

"Mm." Henry faintly answered. He got up and headed straight to the fancy dining table. He did not even ask Monique why she was late.

Monique trailed Henry to the dining table and said, "I'm sorry, just now…"

Monique's speech was cut short when she saw Henry staring at her chest.

Monique's white shirt was drenched. Her silky fair skin looked so smooth. It was exposed through her wet shirt.

Monique's mind was in a mess as she replied embarrassingly, "It was an accident."

Henry smirked as he strode to Monique. 'Accident? Out of all the places that could get drenched.'

"Accident?" Henry raised his brows as he placed his big palms on her wet shirt.

Monique nodded in agreement while her face went instantly red.

Henry lowered his head and kissed Monique fondly. Henry, who was known for always being cold was suddenly affectionate.

Monique was being influenced by Henry's change of behavior and kissed him in return.

They were having a long and affectionate kiss before Henry decided to let her go.

Henry was feeling delighted and stress-free. He stretched out his long arms and softly ran his fingers on Monique's face.

Monique's bushy and long eyelashes kept blinking.

Henry said in a deep voice, "Your shirt’s soaked. Go change it! And your undergarment too."

"It's alright, it’ll dry up in a bit." Monique winked at Henry with a smile. She was being flirtatious.
