Monique smelled sweet and nice. Her voice sounded so delicate that Henry’s heart softened even more. He squinted his eyes and stared at her with a gentle yet passionate look.
Monique realized her own action. Time seemed to stand still and she could only hear her own heartbeat sound.
‘Monique, why were you so shameless…? How could you initiate a kiss with him…?’
It felt like a wedding ceremony. Mrs. Lawson, Mandy, and Angel were so touched that they wanted to clap, but they were afraid of spoiling the atmosphere.
The whole room was so quiet that you could hear a pin drop.
However, Henry was very agitated deep down. His discipline, which he had always been proud of, had fallen apart in front of this woman. Her movements and a soft kiss evoked desire in him.
How he wished he could just carry her upstairs and have sex with her.
He lowered her head. As his lips nearly touched hers…
“Fate brought us together outside the troubled times, yet destiny brought us to love in the hardest times…”
As the room was very quiet, the loud ringtone from the phone was jarring. The ringtone pulled Monique back to reality. Mrs. Lawson, Mandy, Angel, and the makeup artist were all watching from the side…
Boo hoo hoo… How shameful!
She stepped backward in shock. “Someone’s calling me...” Her soft voice sounded.
Everyone was surprised. It was such a mood spoiler.
They reached the Westin Hostel. Henry went down the car and stretched out his hand gently. Monique held his hand and frowned uncontrollably when she went down the car.
Henry slightly lifted his lips, sounding proud, “Does it still hurt?”
Monique was immersed in her fantasy earlier. She felt that she was brought back to reality as she heard that from him.
There was nothing he should be proud of. Monique stared at him disgustedly. “There’s nothing to be proud of.”
Henry hugged Monique’s waist and whispered into Monique’s ears with his evil smile. “I will not let you go easily next time!”
Monique’s eyes widened and her legs shivered uncontrollably. “Y-you’re a beast...”
