Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 346

Mrs. Lawson thought about it for a moment… There was indeed something else. “Young Master instructed you to come back early after you’ve picked Angel up!”

Monique’s legs trembled. Did he want to do it again after she returned home…

Thinking of the previous night, his stamina was really good—he could even go to work that day. She, on the other hand, nearly could not walk. If he wanted another round, she might not have been able to wake up.

Monique twitched her mouth in nervousness. She grabbed the corner of her clothes and asked, “Is there any reason why the Young Master wants me to come home early?”

Mrs. Lawson smiled but did not answer her question. “You’ll know after you come home early.”

Mrs. Lawson’s smiley eyes made Monique even more nervous. Monique could not stop thinking about Mrs. Lawson’s eyes even after she went in the car.

It was a mysterious and confusing look.

Monique left home slightly early that day and Angel was still in the classroom.

Monique entered the classroom immediately. Angel sat on the little chair. The teacher had just finished her class and was asking the children, “Our class today ends here. Keep your books well. Place the little toys in the original location. Wash your hands, take a sip of water, and wait for your parents to pick you up.”

The children followed the teacher's instruction obediently. They kept the books in their respective bags and placed the toys back.

Monique stood at the door of the classroom. She was pleased deep down as she looked at these cute children.

As Angel raised her head and saw her mother come and pick her up so early, her dark eyes brightened in an instant. The smile on her little face looked like a flower and her white teeth were revealed. “Mommy!”

Monique smiled at her, then she turned around and smiled at Miss Sophia who was standing in the front row. “Miss Sophia, I’m here to pick Angel up.”

Even though the teacher said they needed to start calling Angel by her name, Monique was more comfortable with her nickname, having used it for so many years. She could not change in an instant. It was good that Angel could adapt to it easily.

How was she going to tell her about this…

A nice male voice sounded at that moment. “Monique.”

Monique looked toward the direction where the sound originated. She saw an elegant shadow standing in the corridor on the third floor. He was wearing a simple, round-collared casual T-shirt, which made him look outgoing and sophisticated.

He smiled at Monique gently, like a cold wind blowing through. She felt refreshed. “You’re here to pick Angel up.”

His tone sounded normal, just like how he greeted a normal parent.

Monique felt comfortable with such distance so she was not extra cautious of this. She smiled. “Simon, I’m here to bring Angel home.”

It was like a greeting between two close neighbors, coupled with a natural and warm smile.
