Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 339

Monique closed her eyes and accepted his kiss. Tears rolled down from the corner of her eyes and slid down her ears.

‘Forget it. Your life-saving grace was returned to you. All the good you have done to me was also returned to you.’

She did not know if it was because of pain, her tears flowed non-stop. He wiped off her tears gently and heart-achingly but it would not stop flowing.

In the end, she collapsed into his arms unconsciously.

It was obvious they experienced a night of indulgence from the smell lingering in the air.

The sky turned bright. The rays of sunlight poured through the windows.

He hugged her to sleep.

Knock knock. Henry heard a knock on their door.

“Daddy! Mommy!” A young voice was heard coming from the other side of the door.

It was Angel. Monique said last night that she could see Henry when she woke up this morning.

Hence, she went down and searched for them after she woke up and brushed her teeth. Mrs. Lawson told her that both Monique and Henry were still asleep.

Mrs. Lawson intended to stop her. However, Angel said she would need to go to school later that day so Angel came upstairs and knocked on the door.

Mrs. Lawson took the toiletries and followed along.

“Sure. Where’s mommy?” Angel’s eyes rolled around. She blinked her beautiful thick lashes and peeked inside the room. She saw Monique seeming to be asleep.

Henry held the doorknob with his slender hand and gently closed the door. He made a keep quiet gesture and said, “Mommy is still sleeping. Do not bother her!” Henry said to Angel and Mrs. Lee.

Absence truly made the heart grow fonder. Mrs. Lawson smiled and nodded, “Young Master, are you going to wash yourself up downstairs?”

Henry answered with positive affirmation, carried Angel and walked downstairs.

“How will I go to school?” Angel pouted her little pink lips. She did not want the driver to send her to school.

Henry’s lips were raised. He sounded gentle and generous, “I will send you to school today. Is that alright?”
