Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 32

They saw Henry’s gentle and pleasing side and thought how could it be possible that this man was the same as the Young Master Moore, Chairman Moore?

‘Could it be that the girl really is the chairman’s daughter?’

The chairman who was assumed to be uninterested in women brought a five-year-old daughter back out of nowhere. How shocking.

Mrs. Lee was more composed compared to the others. Indeed, the little girl looked a little similar to the chairman when he was young. The more she looked, the more resemblance she saw between them. She might have been his daughter.

Monique sighed softly as she stared at Little Nomi. Her daughter was an obedient girl but she refused to listen to her regarding this matter.

Monique already reminded her the night before not to call Henry her daddy after this. However, it seemed like she forgot after she woke up, she was even getting close to him.

All children are naive. Perhaps it was Little Nomi’s dream to have a father and a mother. They were like a family together.

However, Monique was well aware that it was only a representation. He had a limitless void that would swallow her whole under his elegant and refined surface.

They would never be a family!

She could only work harder to pay her debt and leave before she was in too deep.

“Nomi, here. Time for breakfast.” Monique walked over and extended her arms to her daughter.

Little Nomi hugged Monique back obediently. She looked at Monique’s dark eyes and asked caringly, “Mommy, did you not sleep well last night?”

Monique was stunned. How could she sleep well when she was sleeping in the same room with the devil?

She had been forcing her eyes open till almost sunrise. She also noticed the huge dark circles underneath her eyes when she washed up in the morning.

How could Monique tell her that? She lifted the corner of her mouth and smiled lightly, “I had trouble sleeping in a strange bed.”

Monique rolled her eyes at him discreetly and continued drinking her glass of milk.

“Send me to my office later.” Henry smirked and spoke formally after breakfast.

Monique pursed her lips and hummed lightly in acknowledgment.

That was her job.

She got up to prepare things she normally took with her when Little Nomi followed her with her bottles and others. When she noticed that Little Nomi talking to Mrs. Lee, something hit her.

It seemed inappropriate to take Little Nomi with her because Henry was going to his office. Also, Mrs. Lee would be around at the house. It would be convenient to leave Little Nomi here because Mrs. Lee seemed friendly.

“You can take Little Nomi with you,” said Henry lightly with a brow raised as he looked at Monique. His voice was cold and magnetic without any emotions.
