Monique’s lips twitched, “Let me change out of it first.”
The sales girl looked at her behaviour. “Be careful. If you dirty it, you might not be able to compensate for the laundry fees.”
The sales girl ridiculed her and sneered in disdain, “Leave it if you can’t buy it. Do not have to pretend. You do not deserve this dress.”
Monique’s fair skin turned red.
Monique lowered her head and held the hem as she was about to walk in and take it off.
A big warm palm held her hand from the back. Monique lifted her head in shock. She saw that familiar handsome face. Did he see it? Would he ridicule her too?
His favourite thing to do was to make fun of her. It must have been entertaining for him to see her embarrassed at that moment.
However, as she looked into his eyes, it seemed to be an illusion. His eyes were full of affection.
Henry’s eyes turned dark. Her translucent skin was blushing, her pink lips were slightly opened, and her apricot eyes were sparkling. She looked pitiful.
Henry felt an inexplicable heartache deep down.
His dark eyes glanced through the dress on Monique. The blue color suited her very well as it highlighted her innocence.
The sales girl looked at the handsome man in front of her. His features looked perfect like a sculpture, his tall nose, curvy sexy lips and deep dark eyes like an eagle in the dark that exuded bright light.
Sales girls in luxury stores were all sharp-eyed. Besides the elegance of this man, the outfit on him was from the latest limited edition series of an internationally known brand. It could cost at least a million dollars.
The second sales girl opened her eyes wide in shock, not because of the attitude of the first sales girl, but because of the handsome man in front of her. He was the man who cleared half of the well-known international brand store next door earlier.
She had a good friend in that store. Her friend called and told her about it so she had even ran out to take a peek. It was the man in front of her. His tall and straight figure with his temperament was one of a kind. She was very certain that it was this man right in front of her.
The second sales girl had even heard from her friend that this man was the owner of this mall, the CEO of the Moore Group, Henry Moore.
Henry raised his eyes and glanced at the sales girls. The gentleness earlier disappeared from his dark eyes and turned into coldness.
Both of the sales girls could not help but shiver.
The man’s thin lips opened slightly, “What happened? Does this dress not suit my woman?”
