Monique felt chills run down her spine. His presence had been so overbearing that it made her feel out of breath.
Henry must have referred to Simon as the guy from last night. She realized that she did not travel back in time. Could her life have gotten any worse?
Simon would have never taken advantage of her.
He would have definitely protected her.
Monique started tearing up. She had been so mad that she totally ignored the outcome of provoking a man like Henry. She wanted to antagonize him.
She sat up and scooted to the side to have kept a distance from him.
“Yes, I’m incredibly disappointed!” Monique seethed.
She had no qualms of showing her repugnance towards him. After all, he had just wanted to possess her and coerced her into being his plaything.
She had no choice and had been too weak to have fought back.
However, she was not going to let him have his way.
His attractive looks that charmed countless ladies had repulsed her.
Henry pressed his lips tightly, as anger bubbled under those deep, dark eyes.
Her heart had been stolen by another man!
Jealousy and rage filled him instantly.
That had been the first time that he experienced humiliation and had been helpless about it.
He desperately wanted to force her into submission.
“No, you’re my personal servant.” Henry narrowed his eyes and smirked.
“Personal servant? Hahaha...hahaha…” What a joke! Monique teared up from laughing.
A teardrop rolled down the corner of her eyes.
Henry felt a tug in his chest. He wanted to have reached out and wiped off her tears. There was a split second that he had almost dropped all his defenses so that he could have revealed everything to Monique.
He wanted to ask her if she remembered this place.
This was where they had first met each other. It had also been the place where she gave him her first time and conceived their daughter.
He had been so close to telling her everything.
However, Monique shoved it away before he could have even reached her face.
