Wrong Ride, Right Lover novel Chapter 200

Henry searched both sides of the streets for Monique while he drove.

When his phone rang, he immediately answered, “Any updates?”

Shaun’s voice sounded from the other end excitedly, “She’s in Blues Bar.”

“Blues Bar!” Henry furrowed his brows. Five years had passed since she had last gone there. Why did she visit that place again?

What had she planned to do?

A horrifying thought crossed Henry’s mind.

Had she lost her mind and gone looking for other men?

Henry rammed his car and ignored the traffic lights, almost having caused an accident on his way there.

He parked right in front of Blues Bar.

Henry opened the door hurriedly and jumped out of the car.

He walked past his car and had been about to have dashed into the bar. When he saw the two figures in front of him, he halted in his tracks. His slender body formed a towering shadow under the illumination of the signboards, having given off a blood-curling vibe.

His charming features looked so cold as if they had been covered by a layer of frost. His dark, brooding eyes shot a sharp glare at them, while his pursed lips displayed a cruel grin.

The air around him seemed to have been frozen and unbreathable.

Monique smiled tenderly, she enjoyed the simplicity of their relationship. She felt secured when she had been with him.

Monique closed her eyes and dozed off.

In contrast to Monique’s innocence, there had been an unconcealed affection in Simon’s gaze.

“Let go of her!” A man bellowed.

Simon raised his head and saw a huge man towering over him. The man had veins bulging out from his forehead and his eyes had been so red as if the beast inside him had been provoked. He glared at him in a way that he had been about to eat him alive.

Even though he was clearly not his match, Simon had not been intimidated at all after having seen how brokenhearted Monique had been. He lifted his head with a challenging glint in his eyes while he tightened his grip around Monique as if he had been afraid that she would have been taken away. He then turned around and started walking in the opposite direction.
