Jasmine’s POV

I noticed that Rhian is not on herself right now. I don't know what is wrong with her. I watched her spill coffee on the table, which made her hysterical. Then she started cleaning up the mess she had made.

“ Are you okay?” Erica held her hand when she approached her. She smiled at her, but I knew Erica found it unusual for Rhian to be careless. I called Rhian inside and let her sit on the couch.

“ Is there something wrong?” I asked her. She couldn't even look straight into my eyes. She shook her head and smiled at me at the end.

But I don't believe her. I have never seen her like this before.

I hugged her, and she cried on my shoulder. I caress her back while letting her cry.

“ I met Jacob's Parents. He introduced me to them” She smiled, which I was happy to hear, but I didn't know why she was crying.

“ I thought it would be easy, but I didn't expect that they would mock me in front of Jacob,” she said, forcing herself not to cry.

"This is Travis. I just want to tell you that we are waiting for you,” he said. I didn't talk and hurriedly ended the call.
