Chapter 58: Bad Temper

Jasmine's POV

“No, I won't stop until I get what I want.”

I don't know what he meant by that, but as soon as he said that, he immediately walked away. I know that after this, I won't have the peaceful life that I've always prayed for.

I knew Stacy would do something stupid against me. I still have no idea what it is, but I can see in the future that, she will make things even harder for us. Because that's what she is.

“ Ma'am, Sir Paul is here,” Rhian said while we were fixing the curtains. I sigh; it's been days since I haven't seen him.

“ Jasmine “ I turned around to look at him and smiled.

He's wearing a simple shirt and shorts with shades like he's going to a golf game.

“ What brings you here?” I asked him about it, and he gave me flowers. I accepted it. Actually, he didn't even exactly tell me if he was courting me or what. He's just doing this without any idea.

“ Well, I just missed you,” he said and chuckled. When I looked at his back, I saw Travis sitting on the chair and looking at us. Paul suddenly went closer to me and hugged me.

That was the first time he did that to me. I couldn't utter a word because of what he did. I could see Travis looking at us with his dark expression.

“ Come, I brought pizza for you guys," he said. Everyone gathered at the other table and started eating.

“ You shouldn't have to do this,” I told him, but he just held my shoulder. What's his problem?

“ I just missed being here. Travis Bro will join us.” He even called Travis. Can't he see how mad he is? Sometimes, I think that Paul doesn't know how to read someone's expression. The last time he came here, they had a big fight.

Travis just looked at us.

“ Rich people like them don't want to be like us,” I told Paul, which made him chuckle.

“ Maybe that's because you are his ex-wife?” He said it in a joke, but I could feel how the others looked at me.

“ I was just kidding. Please eat whatever you want,” Paul said. He's really a talkative person. I sigh and warn him by looking at him.

Then suddenly, Travis went to us. He started eating pizza and grabbed a drink.

“ Oh, I wasn't expecting you to,” he said, not continuing his words and just smiling.

“ Get your hands on her,” he said when he finished eating. Paul raised both of her hands and just ate.

Everyone is eating, but I know that they can hear what both of them are saying, even in a low voice.

“ Chill bro, I'm not doing anything. Besides, I just missed her. “ He said in a sarcastic voice. Why does he need to say that to Paul?

“ She's not yours”, he said, which made Paul laugh.

“ Either yours”, he said and smirked, and in just a second, Travis started to punch him.

I started cleaning his wounds, and after that, I placed the bandage.

“ I'm sorry, but you should stop talking to him. You know he's bad-tempered,” I told him. I could even see how close we were while cleaning the rest of his wound, especially his hands.

“ If you'll be my doctor I will always get into trouble” he said that made me slightly beat his shoulder and he acted like he's hurt.

“ Ouch! That hurt. “ He said and chuckled. I just rolled my eyes to him.

“ I'm not kidding, Paul. Earlier, Stacy just pulled my hair, and we went to a big fight, too,” I said, which made him look at me.

“ What? Damn it. She's really reckless,” he said, looking at my back. I didn't dare to turn around to look at them. But I know they are leaving.

“ Bitch” I even heard her say that, but I just sighed and shook my head. I'm tired of her. I don't want any trouble.

“ You're just letting her say those words to you? Do you want me to talk to her?” Paul said but I just shook my head.

“ Even you talk to her she wouldn't listen, people like her would never listen to anyone” I said and she just chuckled.

“ You know what? I admire you for being calm while working here, knowing that She's really mad at you,” he said, and I didn't know he also felt that way.

“ Well, I just wanted to end this, so I'm done with them.”
