Chapter 50: Unwind

Jasmine's POV

“ Mommy! “ My son hurriedly ran towards me to hug me. I hugged him too and kissed him on his chicks.

“ Are you ready?” I messed his hair. He jumped in excitement.

I decided to unwind in the meantime since my son has been asking me if I should treat him somewhere else. I couldn't refuse since I had been so busy for the past few days, and I also missed spending time with him.

“ More than ready, Mom, “ she said while following me through the living room.

“ Your stuff is ready too! Daddy Uncle and I packed it for you!” He said while holding my hands and I saw Diego holding two suitcases.

“It seems like the two of you really planned for this, huh?” I chuckled, and David went to Diego to get his small suitcase, too.

“ Actually, David really convinced me to pack your things. He’s really excited. “ He chuckled and messed up his hair.

“ Mom, we still have to get to the plane.” David grabbed my hand while smiling broadly. He's really cute. I pinched his cheeks, which made him pout.

“ Let's go; I know you're excited, and I can't wait to spend our time at the beach!” I said, and Diego started to place the luggage at the back of the car.

We get inside, and David sits in the back seat.

“ Mommy, can we go to a store to buy ice cream? “he said while playing with his toy.

“ Of course we will, “ I said and smiled at him. Minutes later, we saw a store selling ice cream. Diego went out to buy ice cream and went back immediately.

We actually planned to use our private plane, and we also have our private pilots. Well, let's just go to the beach because David is always talking about it.

He also started to eat ice cream, his favourite.

“ We are here” Diego parked the car, and we went out to help him carry our things.

“ I want to carry my own suitcase Daddy Uncle,” David said while holding the suitcase that was already in Diego's hand.

“ Are you sure? It might be too heavy for you to place inside the plane,” Diego asked him, but he just nodded.

“ Fine, here. “ He handed him his suitcase, and he started walking. I laughed because he was so excited, and he didn't even wait for us.

I do not want Travis to see him. I don't want trouble and get my son involved with our mess.

I just want a peaceful life for my son, that's all. I've already made up my mind that I could raise him without Travis.

I do want to get involved with him now, but he's acting weird. I just wanted that project to end right away, but the woman kept on making changes. I just hope that Rhian is okay right now while I work with her without her for days.

“That's Good, but sometimes Stacy keeps changing the plans. And I know she's really doing that on purpose to make our work harder,” I told him while he was busy with his phone.

“ Do you need help? “he asked me, but I shook my head. I knew he was also busy in real estate. Besides, he would get tired if he continued to help me.

“ no, it's okay. I can handle it. Rhian and my staff are helping me. Sometimes, I just can't stand her attitude, and we always have arguments. What about you? How are you? How's work?” I asked him, I know it's hard because he always brings David with him. On the other hand, he's also working.
