Chapter 133
Anastasia took a deep breath as she looked at the night scenery.
It didn’t seem too terrible to leave Alastor and the place that made her feel suffocated.
“Anastasia, I’m not Jace from six years ago anymore.” Jason looked at Anastasia.
However, Anastasia didn’t speak.
“So, why did you come here knowing that Alastor and Felicia want to humiliate you?” Jason insisted on knowing.
He wanted to know if Anastasia still had lingering feelings for Alastor or if she was threatened by him.
“Stop asking.” Anastasia frowned. “It’s between me and Alastor. Don’t get involved.”
Jason was a little disappointed and looked away. Anastasia always treated him as an outsider to her relationship with Alastor.
That was right. He had left for six years.
It was too late.
He had missed out on her life too much.
In the evening, Jason had to deliver takeouts. Penelope’s surgery and hospitalization expenses were too expensive, so he had to work several jobs.
Anastasia looked at the bank card that Jason hadn’t used and sighed.
Sighing, she thought, “This kid is still as stubborn as before. He doesn’t have to work so hard but insists on not using the money I gave him.”
Anastasia sat on the couch and answered a phone call from Jayden. “Anastasia, guess who I found.”
“Sienna?” Anastasia took a guess.
Jayden sounded a little excited.
“Xavier!”
After Anastasia heard that, she froze for a moment.
Xavier was her partner.
In the past, Anastasia cooperated with Xavier on all her art exhibitions.
Over the years, Anastasia’s only trusted friend of the opposite sex was Xavier.
That was the extent she trusted him.
However, this man stabbed her in the back.
“Haha,” Anastasia laughed sarcastically. Then, she lowered her head and kept silent.
“That jerk hides well. He has strong counter-reconnaissance ability and knows the most dangerous place is the safest place. I’m sure you won’t be able to guess where he hid,” Jayden said smugly. “It isn’t hard for me to deal with this. He is hiding in a rented house near the university. I will send you the address in a while, but don’t look for him yourself, miss. You have to go with me,” Jayden reminded Anastasia.
“Okay,” Anastasia agreed but wouldn’t drag Jayden down.
She looked up at Xavier’s rented house, and the lights were turned on.
Knocking sounds could be heard as Anastasia stood in front of the door.
Inside the house, Xavier asked, “Who is it?”
“It’s me.” Anastasia didn’t think about concealing her identity.
He was silent for a long time inside the house and finally opened the door.
Xavier looked at Anastasia standing outside the door and glanced around the area.
“Don’t worry. I came here alone.” Anastasia’s voice was low.
When Xavier was sure that no one was around, he was relieved.
“What are you afraid of? You have ruined me. No one will believe me or protect me.” Anastasia entered Xavier’s house, untied her scarf, and threw it on the ground.
Xavier frowned and looked at Anastasia. “Why are you here?”
“I’m curious that when you painted the nude paintings… Were you aroused?” Anastasia turned around, looked at Xavier, and smiled. Then, she took off her coat and threw it on the ground.
After that, she began to take off her sweater.
“Anastasia! What’s wrong with you?” Xavier was frightened by her behavior.
